By the time the weekend rolls around, are the only plans that sound appealing to you staying in and watching a show? Yeah, me too. I used to get excited to dress up and stay out late, but I won’t lie to you: Those days are over. Instead, streaming what’s new is now my idea of a wild Saturday night. Winter has me fully embracing the homebody life, and I’m even marking release dates in my calendar.

With all of the streaming services now, it can be hard to keep up with what to watch and where to watch it. But, this month, the lineups are so good that you will want to ensure you have a subscription to every platform—or at least your friends’ passwords. These shows and movies are about to be the sole topic of conversation in The Everygirl’s #watercooler Slack channel, and I’ll be damned if I miss out on that.

Cancel your plans and get comfortable because it’s time to hit “Play.” Without further ado, here are some of the most anticipated shows and movies that are new on streaming this month.

Netflix

Celebrity Bear Hunt (Season 1)

Stream on Netflix starting February 5

This new series is giving Hunger Games for celebrities (minus the actual murder part, thankfully), and I’ll absolutely be watching. The competition show stars a group of celebrities being hunted down in the jungles of Costa Rica by none other than renowned survival expert Bear Grylls.

Kinda Pregnant

Stream on Netflix starting February 5

Now that it’s February, it’s officially rom-com season! Amy Schumer stars in this new film about a woman who is so jealous of her pregnant friend that she decides to wear a fake baby bump. As her lies begin to unravel, she accidentally meets the man of her dreams.

Apple Cider Vinegar (Season 1)

Stream on Netflix starting February 6

With the hordes of wellness hacks that circle the internet today, this series is sure to feel eerily familiar. Set at the birth of Instagram, we follow two young women who set out to cure their life-threatening illnesses through health and wellness, building global online communities along the way. Their journey would be incredibly inspiring…if they were both telling the truth.

Aftermath

Stream on Netflix starting February 10

Zack Martin, what are you doing here? Dylan Sprouse and Mason Gooding headline this action thriller about a war veteran (Sprouse) with PTSD who gets trapped on a bridge with his sister after a bomb explodes. He must use his elite training to save himself, his sister, and the other hostages from a group of vengeful ex-military contractors led by an unhinged war criminal.

Love is Blind (Season 8)

Stream on Netflix starting February 14

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, a new season of Love is Blind is dropping on the 14th. With a whole new cast to obsess over, I can’t wait to talk about the show with my roomies. There’s sure to be lots of drama, love (maybe…), laughter, and probably a little hatred, too.

Zero Day

Stream on Netflix starting February 20

With all of the uncertainties that we face in today’s world, this movie may hit a little close to home. It isn’t a lighthearted watch, but it’s still a must-see. Robert De Niro leads this new thriller drama series, playing a former U.S. President called out of retirement to find the source of a deadly cyberattack, only to discover a vast web of lies and conspiracies.

Running Point

Stream on Netflix starting February 27

Kate Hudson and Brenda Song? Yes, and yes. Hudson headlines this new Basketball comedy series as a reformed party girl who must prove herself as a businesswoman when she’s unexpectedly put in charge of her family’s pro basketball team.

Apple TV+

The Gorge

Stream on Apple TV+ starting February 14

I really can’t get enough of Miles Teller, especially in an action-thriller. Two highly-trained operatives (Miles Teller and Anya Taylor-Joy) are appointed to posts in guard towers on opposite sides of a vast and highly classified gorge, protecting the world from an undisclosed, mysterious evil that lurks within. They bond from a distance while trying to stay vigilant in defending against an unseen enemy.

Hulu

The Kardashians (Season 6)

Stream on Hulu starting February 6

They’re baaaaaack! Another season full of drama is here from the Kardashian-Jenners as they face challenges, milestones, and new adventures. This is my comfort show, and I can’t wait to binge-watch the new episodes.

A Thousand Blows

Stream on Hulu starting February 21

This period piece from the creator of Peaky Blinders is set in 1880s London, following two main characters as they’re thrust into the criminal underbelly of the bare-knuckle boxing scene. As they catch the attention of criminal leaders, a battle for power and control ensues between the old world and the new.

Max

The White Lotus (Season 3)

Stream on Max starting February 16

The White Lotus is back for Season 3, and it promises to be just as incredible as the first two. This time, its star-studded cast is visiting a luxury resort in Thailand, where plenty of drama, secrets, and lies are sure to unfold. It hasn’t even come out yet, and I’m already hooked.
